Riley appoints Main to appeals court
Gov. Bob Riley has appointed state Finance Director Jim Main to a vacant seat on the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals effective May 15. Main has served as finance director since June 2004.
Assistant Finance Director Bill Newton will serve as the acting finance director when the appointment becomes effective.
