Knight Recognized for Military Service

State Rep. John Knight was recognized during the last day of the 2009 legislative session for his military service during the Vietnam War.

For his heroism during the war, Knight received the silver star.

Speaker of the House Seth Hammett had this to say:

"He wouldn’t tell you why he received the silver star under any conditions or what happened the day he won it. I made him tell me one day..and he is my hero."
