Bill to Regulate Tax Preparers Sets Off House Filibuster

Fourteen members of the House of Representative are prepared to speak to a bill that would regulate the taxpreparer industry in the state.

The bill is up for debate on the second to last day of the legislative session. The bill is ready for final passage, but it has to survive this debate.

Both Republicans and Democrats have problems with the bill and they plan to air them all it seems before the day is through. With no budgets to slow up the bill today is do or die.
