Ala. GOP Weighs In
We haven't heard from U.S. Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Saks, yet about whether he will apologize to U.S. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi for the remarks he made about her earlier this week, but the state GOP couldn't resist weighing in on the matter.
In a release, Philip Bryan, ALGOP communications director had this to say:
“While we can appreciate the friendship and financial ties that Alabama Democrats have with Nancy Pelosi, we find it difficult to stomach that Democrat Chairman Joe Turnham would fall all over himself to defend Nancy Pelosi.," Bryan said in a release. "Aside from the fact that Pelosi supports gay-marriage, abortion and under-funding our military, Madame Speaker is currently orchestrating one of the largest expansions of government that this country has ever seen, which will raise the taxes on each and every Alabamian – therefore Turnham’s grandstanding on her behalf is reprehensible.”

Well I'm not so sure that Bryan should go this route considering that Rogers was a proud member of Team DeLay - despite what he said about Delay's excessive partisanship - Rogers was one of the head DeLay cheerleaders
