Luther Strange plans Wednesday announcement

Birmingham lawyer Luther Strange, the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor in 2006, will make an announcement about his 2010 candidacy at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Strange, a former lobbyist, has said he was considering a run for attorney general, which would pit him against incumbent Troy King in the primary. King has already announced he is running for reelection.
Strange, after defeating three other Republicans in the primary, lost to Democrat Jim Folsom Jr. in the 2006 general election.
People will be able to find more information about Strange's announcement, including video, at www.lutherstrange.com.
